The Panflick saga begins in 1819 when Orlando Panflick is taken by pirates. On his release he returns to England. His youngest son Stanley emigrates to America and becomes a minor Robber Baron. Our hero Adam is the grandson of Stanleys stolid and strange brother Martin. Book One centers on the unusual courtship of Martins abandoned son Melchizedek and Mildred Oxlie in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Their marriage eventuates in the birth of Adam Panflick, our protagonist and hero.

This first of eight books of Panflick history fills in many gaps in the general knowledge of the period. In Adam Panflick, the reader will make the acquaintance of one of the most unusual human beings ever to grace the planet. Books of the Pamflick saga will appear regularly, possibly as often as every week. In keeping with Panflicks wishes, everything must be ship shape before ever a word is spread.
